Team Jacob

    The 2012 Four Seasons Parkway Run & Walk benefiting CHILDHOOD CANCER research for CHOP will take place September 30, 2012.  Registration begins at 7:30 am followed by the Run & Walk at 8:00 am.  Last year Team Jacob raised over $1000.00 dollars towards Childhood Cancer Research.  I have set our goal this year at $500.00 dollars in hopes though that we will raise much more. 

     Our family holds a special place in our hearts for CHOP. Jacob has been a patient there since he was 6 months old. He spent 6 months receiving chemotherapy, had 3 blood transfusions, and will continue to have MRIs there every 6 months months until he is 5.  Even though Jacob has had clear results for the past 6 months, doesn't need to spend his days and nights there, unfortunately there are many children who are unable to go home  during treatments, or don't ever make it home.  The Doctors and Nurses at CHOP are amazing! To go to work there everyday helping sick children with a smile on their face makes our visits there much easier. 

      We hope you are able to RUN or WALK with us on September 30.  It is an amazing day to be there with other families and childhood cancer survivors.  Please invite anyone to walk with us that day.  We thank all of you for your continued Love and Support for Jacob.
