It seems like everywhere I turn these days, I'm hearing about someone who has cancer.  Cancer is horrible at any age.  But no child should have to deal with the horror that is the experience of having cancer.

I'm walking on Sept. 30 in honor of my friend's son who was diagnosed with cancer as a baby.  He's now a happy, thriving 11-year-old boy.  Please help me reach my goal of raising $500 towards child cancer research.  The money will go to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  There are no words to describe what CHOP brings to the world.  The world is a better place because of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

The walk this year is on my 33rd birthday.  I can think of no more appropriate way to celebrate my birthday than to raise money for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
