Join us and Honorary Chair, Preston Elliot from The Preston and Steve show broadcast on 93.3 WMMR the 4th Annual Walk for Hope sponsored by the IBD Family Research Council on Sunday, October 21, 2012. Thank you to all of our participants and sponsors from last year. Your efforts helped us raise over $56,000 for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) research at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis) is the fastest growing pediatric disease in America. Children's Hospital alone treats over 1,700 children a year who suffer from this very painful and often debilitating disease for which there is no cure. However, the scientists and doctors at the IBD Center at CHOP are giving us hope. Their cutting edge research is developing better treatments and getting us closer to a cure. You can take steps to find a cure with us by participating in either the 5K Walk/Run or the 2K Family Walk. Register as an individual or put your own team together. Or...just come out to cheer on the runners and walkers and show your support for the kids and families who live every day with the effects of this disease. There will also be activities for kids and plenty of refreshments after the race. Please help us make this event a success by donating and participating.

          Children 11 and under — Free registration (T-shirts cost is $5.00)

Can't be at the Walk of Hope in person?
Be a Virtual Walker and we will have a runner/walker wear a bib in honor of your friend or family member suffering with IBD in your absence.
