What is the Daisy Day Luncheon?
The Daisy Day Luncheon is one of the largest daytime fundraising events in the Greater Philadelphia region. In the past 14 years, the Daisy Day Luncheon has raised more than $14 million and is attended by approximately 800 guests each year. This elegant affair attracts a variety of individual and corporate benefactors who share a commitment to advancing pediatric healthcare. The event includes various fundraising components: sponsorship opportunities, live auction, silent auction, raffle and a high-end fashion show. The fashion show, sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue will feature the Stella McCartney Fall 2013 Collection. Previous fashion shows included fashions and appearances by elite couture designers such as Michael Kors, Carolina Herrera, Michael Vollbracht for Bill Blass, Badgley Mischka, Isaac Mizrahi, Oscar de la Renta, J.Mendel, and most recently Keren Craig for Marchesa.
Proceeds from the 2013 Daisy Day Luncheon will benefit the Pain Management Program at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The keynote speaker will be Dr. David D. Sherry, Section Chief in the Division of Rheumatology and Director of the Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome Program.
