About the Tournament

The 2011 "All In" for Kids Poker Tournament, presented by The Kortney Rose Foundation, will be held at the Mandarin Oriental on Thursday, October 20. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with registration, a poker tutorial session and buffet dinner and cocktails. The tournament begins at 7 p.m. A dessert reception will follow. The tournament is expected to end at midnight.

This annual tournament, founded by Beth Shak and Dan Shak and hosted by poker legend Phil Hellmuth, brings together celebrities, athletes and professional poker players with Hospital Trustees, donors and grateful families for an exciting and worthwhile evening to benefit Children's Hospital. This year's Honorary Chairs are Kristen & Richard Gillette.

To date, the tournament has raised nearly $3 million for Children's Hospital. Past beneficiaries include the Hospital's Pediatric Advanced Care Team and the Division of Neurosurgery, and the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment.

Charity Tournament Details: The "All In" for Kids Poker Tournament is played using rules of a No Limit Hold 'Em charity tournament. Participants make a recommended donation to the Hospital to play. During the first three levels of play, players will have the option to "re-buy" $5,000 in chips with an additional donation. The tournament is limited to 120 players.
